4-H Club Held August 2 Tour

On Sunday, August 2, the Better Livestock 4-H Club gathered at the Zurich Recreation Park for a picnic lunch. A very delicious pot luck lunch was served.

The tour began at about 2:00 p.m. During the tour grains, gardens and calves were inspected by the 4-H members. The farms of the following people were visited during the tour: Drugge Lenhardt, Miller, Schaible, Steinmetz, Brummer, Kathman and Hebbleman. The tour concluded at about 5:30.

A very good turnout was present for the tour, and all reported a good time.

Correction in the news for last meeting's report. The next meeting will be held on August 13, today, at 8:00 this evening at the Zurich Park.—Rosella Steinmetz, reporter.
