We never miss fire.—Many, perhaps a majority of our cotemporaries, hereabouts, have as usual given notice, that—owing to the holidays,—they will not issue, but again miss a publication. That is a sort or species of policy, in political economy, we have never adopted. It would not only be convenient for ourselves and office hands, to enjoy a week's recreation from incessant toil and perplexities, but it would also be a saving in the way of finances, to us (individually,) of about fifty dollars, a matter these times worthy the sober second thought and deserving of serious consideration.
