BLUEBIRD FEATURE FILMED IN ARIZONA

Everybody who has witnessed many Bluebird photoplays will readily recall "The End of the Rainbow" as among the most beautiful pictures in the series. Then, too, there was "The Girl of Lost Lake" and "The Secret of the Swamp," other distinctively beautiful Bluebirds, made so because of the settings photographed from nature that added a charm to the pictorial story-telling. Lynn F. Reynolds wrote and directed all three of these Bluebirds with George Hernandez, Myrtle Gonzales and Val Paul playing the leading roles. This quartet of cleverness has lately prepared another beautiful Bluebird, more impressive in nature-setting than its predecessors and it will be disclosed, under the title of "God's Crucible," at the Eagle theatre today when "Bluebird Day" is again signalized. Mr. Reynolds took his company to the Grand Canyon of Arizona and there, for the first time in the history of the screen, used the wondrous scenes of that great handiwork of nature to provide setting for a photoplay. There is not in all the world a more glorious and impressive sight than Arizona's Grand Canyon. Its beauties have been extolled by travelers from every part of the globe and bringing these scenes before the eyes of local devotees of the screen is an achievement which adds further luster to Bluebird's excellent reputation.
