DR. WHEELER TAKES OVER MINERS' UNION HOSPITAL
The Miners' Union hospital has been turned over to Dr. E. A. Wheeler who proposes hereafter to conduct it as an independent institution, free from all sectarian or industrial affiliations. The hospital has a capacity for 70 patients and is one of the most modern institutions in the west. When it was completed last winter it ranked as the only strictly up-to-date hospital in Nevada. Heretofore the hospital has been in charge of a committee of the Miners' union, but hereafter it will be open to the general public with special attention to the wants of women and children.
