LOST HIS CAR BY FIRE
Five-Passenger Hup Burns
While Being Driven From
Rhinelander Last Saturday
Night.

Discovering his Hup car to be
ablaze Saturday night while on his
way home from Rhinelander, Tom
McGregor, Jr., suffered a total loss
and escaped with a few minor
burns.

Returning from Rhinelander in
the evening last Saturday, at a
point near the Bohemian school
house, Mr. McGregor found that
his car was on fire. Parking along-
side the road at once he began an
investigation, but there was an ex-
plosion immediately which covered
the entire car with flames. In a
few minutes the car was destroyed,
and it is said to be a total loss, the
heat ruining every working part
of the auto.

Just how the fire originated is
a conundrum to Mr. McGregor,
who was driving home alone after
a business trip to Rhinelander.
