An Officer of one of the Men of War with a Number of Marines, took the Command of Capt. Hulme's Ship, and obliged her to come too off the Castle: Whether the Ship and her whole Cargo, or the stamped Papers are to be seized as illicit Goods, we can't yet learn - It is hoped 'that if she is obliged to break Bulk before the Master makes Report, His Excellency the Governor will secure her from a Seizure by the Custom-House Officers. It is certain the Captain was not suffered to proceed to Port, nor the Owner to come on board. The Stamped Papers for this Province, Rhode-Island and New-Hampshire, are arrived in Capt. Hulme.
