Sure, and they say that the little people were hard at work with those surprise packages on Christmas Eve--but no, me boys, not a word of truth is there in it. 'Twas not the pixies at-all, at'all!
'Twas Elsie Brassard, Carol Roloff, Mary Le Claire and Marilyn Kieske of the front office who gave their Christmas Evening to make sure that the packages were distributed and sorted.
It might be, you thought we wouldn't catch you, ladies, but we know, we know! Our thanks to you, and to our Front Office correspondent.
The packages--collected for forgotten men by Father Miller and Chaplain Rotenberry from Catholic and Protestant Church groups all over the state--were distributed with but one thought in mind, that every man in the institution, regardless of creed, should be remembered at Christmas-time.
