IMPARTIALIST.

SALEM, July 18.

A Dublin paper of April 18, found on board a prize lately taken, has the following articles.

On Tuesday last the glorious work of the emancipation of Ireland has been completed, by the superior powers of our patriotic orators. Mr. Grattan, in a speech which would reflect honour on the Cicero's and Demosthenes's of those ancient states whose memory is still, and ever will be, the admiration of rising generations, resumed the glorious question of Ireland's Independence. Though overpowered heretofore by superior numbers, but not by superiority of argument, the day was carried by this celebrated character, supported by the Yelvertons, Burghs, Hutchinsons, Bradstreets, and other ornaments of their country. Ireland's Independence was asserted, and carried without one dissenting voice. The pillar reared by dissension and ignorance of our rights, for the support of English pride, has been overturned by the hand of union, and enlightened wisdom. This night, on which the patriotic orators, as so many stars, shone with such lustre, was but the forerunner of a morning that ushered in the most glorious sight that Ireland has beheld since the days of her (long eclipsed) splendour. The Delegates of all the Corps of Leinster Volunteers, marched to Guildhall, amidst the acclamations of thousands, to deliberate on the most effectual means of rescuing their country from slavery and oppression. The streets were lined with armed legions. Joy beamed in every countenance. It was not a body of adventurers collected to concert the gloomy plan of depredation and plunder, but the phalanx of generous liberty meeting to assert, by virtue and valour, the dictates of wisdom, and to diffuse, without distinction, to all descriptions of Irishmen, the blessing of a constitution to which they are so justly entitled. They have not only acceded to the Dungannon resolutions, but adopted the most effectual and constitutional plan to emancipate Ireland from slavery.
