Grand Jury Praises Atlanta Negro Police

ATLANTA, Sept. 13. (AP)—After serving during July and August, the retiring Fulton county grand jury praised the work of Atlanta's eight Negro police officers. These officers were appointed to the force only a few months ago. The grand jury said:

"We find that for several months Negro police have been patrolling these areas of Atlanta where Negroes congregate, and conclude that they are effective in creating greater respect for law and order in these areas."
