to become the first in the 75
year history of the college.
Rodney Jaye Miller, Greensboro,
was admitted as a special
student, entering the summer
session which opened
at the college Thursday.
Miller, married and the
father of two children, had
filed application last January,
citing convenience to his
home, special technical
courses in his field (engineering)
which he could not
get elsewhere in Greensboro,
and job opportunities here
as reasons for wishing to enter
the previously all-Negro
college.
