IMPROMPTU.

'Says the Cobler to the Tinker
Since we're met, let's merry merry be
Says Amos to Blair and Paulding
Let's stir up a stave at the old Navy
And let the pitch be scalding.

Says Amos to Blair and Paulding.
You write one line, you write another
I'll tell Trump, you tell his brother.
If Jack, or the Whigs dare to make any bother,
We'll all of us swear that he's not the author.
You sing 'Cob'—and you sing 'Yors'
You sing 'Tin'—and I'll sing 'cur:'
None shall know who wrote 'Cobbler and Tinker.'
