Madame Johnson's Aerial Voyage.--The ascension of Madame Johnson took place on Thursday afternoon. A few minutes before five, the balloon being well inflated, the gondola was attached, and the Aeronaut made her appearance. She took her seat and arranged the cords, bags of sand, &c. with the greatest composure. She gave the word to let go, bade her friends farewell, waved her flags, and rose with great rapidity amidst the shouts of the surrounding multitude. The balloon rose and passed almost instantly over the Battery, the lower part of the city, crossing the East River at Brooklyn. In about 25 minutes from the time of departure, the balloon descended at Flatlands, Long Island, about seven miles from Brooklyn Ferry.
