Break in the Arkansas Levee at Walnut Bend.-The Memphis Appeal, of the 15th ult., says:

The clerk of the St. Francis No. 3. informed us yesterday that when they passed Walnut Bend, on their way to this city, from the St. Francis river, they found that a break had occurred on the Arkansas side at that place. Such was the force with which the pent-up waters were pouring into the low grounds of that neighborhood, that the noise of their rush through the orifice, and of their destructive course through the bottom lands, could be heard at the distance of more than a mile from the spot.
