Piggott Banner: The laying of the new road from Kennett to Piggott was begun last week and is now being pushed by a large force of hands. The track is being laid on the surface and a steam grader is following up with the grading. One of the promoters of the road was here one day this week and stated the crew was laying the track at the rate of a mile a week. At that rate the road should be completed by the middle of September. This road will put Piggott in close touch with every point in Dunklin county and many other points that have heretofore been well-nigh inaccessible to us.
