Twelve law students received their diplomas last evening when the graduating exercises of the senior class of the Willamette College of Law was held at the Methodist church and are now ready to embark upon their professional career:
The interior of the church had been artistically decorated for the occasion--pennants being in evidence throughout the building, and the chancel being banked with flowers and palms. There was a large and appreciative audience in attendance, and the program. which consisted of instrumental and vocal selections and addresses, was thoroughly enjoyed by all

The evening program was opened by the playing of the "Processional March" by Professor T. S. Roberts. and during its rendition the graduating class, followed by Charles L. McNary, dean of the college; Hon. D. Solis Cohn. the speaker of the evening; Justice T. A. McBride. of the supreme court, and Rev. P. S. Knight. entered and took their seats on the stage. Rev. Knight then delivered a short invocation, after which the audience listened to a solo by Miss Irma Shumway. Hon. D. Solis Cohen was then introduced as the speaker of the evening, and he delivered an eloquent and scholarly address. Upon the conclusion of his address a solo was rendered by George C. L. Snyder, after which the charge was given to the class by Judge McBride. Then followed the presentation of the class by Dean McNary. and the presentation of diplomas by President Homan.
Made Excellent Showing.
All of the graduates are fine specimens of the manhood of the state of Oregon. They can boast of an excellent class record. and Dean McNary and the other members of the faculty identified with the work of the school are decidedly pleased with the showing made. Most of the graduates have made arrangements to enter upon the active practice of their profession.

George Norman Murdock. Roy Franklin Shields, Guy Odell Smith, William Mathew Stone,
William Ellsworth Vincent. Harry Hickory Ware, Willard Herman Wertz and Charles Chaser Yates.
