U. S. Government May Send
Warship There for Him.
Charged With Insulting Nicaragua
President But This
Government Has Different
Information.
Washington,
Sept. 14—Secretary
Bonaparte today consulted with
the state department in regard to issuing
orders to immediately send a war ship
to Costa Rica to convey American
Minister Merry to the port of Nicaragua where
William F. Albers and
his brother American citizens are
confined charged with insulting the
president of Nicaragua.
The United States government has
information saying that Albers is in jail
because he refused to blackmail the
government officials.
