This Train Robber Worked Alone.
CARSON, Nev, Feb. 10.-About 7 o'clock last evening, when the Virginia and Truckee mail train was a mile out of town, the express car was smashed in and the box containing money to pay wages to section hands along the road was demanded of Jack Page, the express messenger, at the muzzle of a shotgun. The robber then pulled the bell cord, giving the engineer the signal to stop the train, which was done. After securing the box, containing $1000, the robber jumped from the train and started toward town.
