People Who Come and Go-Brief Brevities of Interest to All Readers of The Globe.

Two Italians traveling with a bear that was trained-a bear weighing as much as Colonel Albright and Capt. J. Y. Whitted, both together, got it this morning. That is, one of them did.

The bear tore the scalp off of one of the fellows-and Colonel Albright who threw a cancelling stamp at them is the hero of the hour.

The bear was finally subdued and the cub regained.

However, a traveling bear is not a luxury, as a mule was enticed to run away and much other damage was done.
