Highway Philosophy By Trooper Bill

Don't take yourself so seriously, that is why there is so much humor in this old world.

Over eleven hundred persons had died on Florida highways at the end of last year. The economic loss was over $177 million dollars. What a price to pay for carelessness.

Please drive with care. Don't be carried on the family tree as a statistic.

Cool mornings mean fogged up windshields. Warm up the old auto and defrost the windshield before trying to drive.

Children should be seen and not hurt, safety men say. However, kids hold a good sized hunk of the safety stake, too. They must observe good walking practices.

Don't let the way You drive, my friend, Put you in the graveyard in the end.

Col. H. N. Kirkman's safety suggestion for the week: Drive and think. Your car does neither. It just goes where its steered.
