[The following articles were drawn up for last week's Recorder. They are now printed, exactly as they were originally wrote.]

About ten days ago, we had a letter from Mr. Burnham, printer of the New York Evening Post. He complained that not one of our subscribers in that city had got a single Recorder for a fortnight. The printer of the York Recorder has also wrote us that, excepting himself, not one of our subscribers at York (in Pennsylvania) has ever got a paper at all. although this gentleman obliged us with a list of names at least six weeks ago. These are very serious things: but if there are thieves belonging to the post-office department, it is from want of power, and not from any want of good will, that we do not transfer them to the workhouse and the whipping post. The rascal, who stops your paper, would, with equal pleasure, steal your shirt.
