$2,000,000 LOST BY FIRE

The large train shed at Broad Street, Philadelphia, on Monday morning, was entirely destroyed by fire, with a loss of approximately $2,000,000.

The loss to the building was about $1,000,000, and damage to other property including 800 to 1000 trunks, which were in the baggage rooms beneath the train shed, three locomotives, eight steel coaches and three electric cars will probably amount to another million dollars. Thirty persons, mostly firemen, were injured, but none seriously.
