Repays Relief To Enter "Heaven"

BALTIMORE-(ANP)-Told that she could not enter Father Divine's new Krum Elbow "heaven" unless she first paid her debts, Mrs. Hattie Read appeared Saturday before Judge Thomas J. S. Waxter relief director, to pay back in full $148.80 she received on relief in 1933-34.

"I want to get in heaven," Judge Waxter quoted her as saying. "and Father Divine (he's God) says he won't have anything to do with me until I pay all my debts and I owe you some money."

She insisted upon a receipt as her passport to paradise.
