Ex-Allen Teacher
To Head Schools
Of Indianapolis

Prof. Herman Shibler, who has been superintendent of schools in Highland Park, Detroit, Mich., for the past eight years, has accepted the position of superintendent of schools in Indianapolis.

Mr. Shibler started his teaching career at Allen Center and later taught in the New Dover school. He received his master's and doctor's degrees at Ohio State University.

He married the former Miss Helen Campbell, of this city, and they are the parents of four children. They will take up their residence in Indianapolis the first of October. Mrs. Shibler is a sister of Mrs. Ralph Gerard, of W. Fourth st.
