Warm Weather and Mosquitoes Take Thrill From Hunt

Warm weather and mosquitoes have all but put an end to the hunting season for the present according to J. Walton Hobbs, district game warden. Those who started an offensive against squirrels have found themselves so hard put in defending themselves against the insect pest that most have called their hunting off as not worth the trouble.

Few deer have been bagged in this part of the country so far, though a number of hunting parties have gone after them and some valuable dogs have been lost, perhaps only temporarily, he says.
