Muddy Brook Group Is To Use Fair For Upping Truck Fund
The Muddy Brook firemen, having tried their talents at most everything to raise money to pay for their new firetruck, are going into Woodstock Fair this year with a bang.
Starting early in the month to construct booths to make attractive displays for the midway, they have completed four very neat and well-built outfits.
Their dart and ball games should thrill old and young alike who enjoy a game of skill. In the toy stand one will find a large and very attractive high priced assortment of dolls, animals, etc.
Going to the extent of sending one of their members to New York for available bingo merchandise they have purchased one of the finest assortments they have ever offered at their bingo stand.
This year the firemen will have plenty of competition, because of a large carnival that will also be at the fair, but they feel that a good number of those people who visit the midway will stop and give them a play at their booths for they are home-town boys and the money derived from the fair will be used for a very good cause.
For all the work they have put into it they sure deserve a break and everyone hopes they get it.
