We are well assured that Lord Dartmouth's letter, so much talked of by the Tories, as being moderate, &c. amounts to no more nor less than this, that if the colonies will grant his Majesty as much money, annually, as the King, Lords, and Commons, shall think proper to demand, then the colonies may have the liberty of getting it how they can; and this sum is to be at the disposal of Parliament, so that the money of the colonies may be applied for enslaving them. This same very wild letter, with which the Tories are so well satisfied, denies the colonies even the least claim of right: so that it seems there are some in England who have the same opinion of the King, Lords, and Commons, as some BLASPHEMERS in this town have, viz. "that the King, Lords, and Commons, are the same upon earth as God Almighty is in Heaven." The words quoted above, are the very identical expressions of certain persons in this town.

Report assures that Lord Dartmouth's letter, praised by Tories as moderate, demands colonies grant annual money as demanded by King, Lords, and Commons, at Parliament's disposal for enslaving colonies, and denies colonies any rights. Compares English opinions to blasphemers in town who equate King, Lords, and Commons to God on earth.
