HAIDA RETURNS FROM BOUNDARY CRUISE TODAY

The Coast Guard cutter Haida returned to Juneau today after a 41-day cruise to Hyder and International Boundary points with the American and Canadian representatives of the International Boundary Commission, Thomas Riggs, former Governor of Alaska, and Noel J. Ogilvie.

The Haida stopped in Hyder while officials inspected old boundary markers there, and then cruised to the Westward end of the boundary on Cape Muzon, Dall Island.

The cutter will remain here at her base until the 21st of the month when she will sail for Seattle to take Postmaster General James A. Farley to Victoria.
