BALTIMORE, July 14.
LATEST FROM BORDEAUX.

The schooner Baltimore, Veazy, in 35 days from Bordeaux, sailed in co. with four French merchantmen bound to the U. States. She was informed of the war off the coast. The brig Herald was to sail from Bordeaux in two months—the Oriental in two weeks.

By this arrival, we have accounts from France to the 9th ult. All doubt is dissipated in relation to the formal revocation by an imperial decree of the Berlin and Milan edicts as they affected America. Immediately repealed as they respected the United States. The report of a change in the English cabinet also made an impression upon business at Bordeaux.

The harvest in France promised to be very abundant, and the Bonaparte had certainly gone towards the porth; but no war events are mentioned.

A highly respectable friend has favored us with a letter and price current received by the Baltimore, from which we make the following extracts:

BORDEAUX, June 6.

"On the 6th and 26th of Feb. and 14th of April, I advised you of our market, and the eventual prospect of an amelioration in the prices of the American productions, particularly of long staple cottons. The event has justified my expectations, as you will observe by the prices quoted.

"West-India produce has likewise risen within a few days, and meets a brisk sale. This is to be ascribed not to a single, but to the following combined causes:--the determination of this government to grant no more licenses to trade with England; the report of a general embargo in the U. States, and the real wants of the consumers.

"A small parcel of tobacco arrived not long since, and was admitted to the entrepot without difficulty. As the Regie must use a considerable portion of Virginia tobacco in the snuff manufacturing, there is no doubt but that the various parcels which may arrive from the U. States will be sold to them at advantageous prices. Not more than 40 or 50 hhds. should be shipped by one vessel, and should be of the very best quality."

Note.—The new quintal of 50 kilogrammes is equal to 112 lbs. American. The franc is divided into 100 centimes, and 5f. 33 1-3c. is the par of a dollar. Goods not prohibited enjoy an entrepot of 12 months.
