Fred Gelhane, engineer with the Pan American Airways, was an arrival this morning for the purpose of arranging for the transfer of the Key West offices of the company from the barge to an office on one of the finger piers.

It was learned today that it is the intention of the airways company to have the barge condemned as soon as feasible. Before this order is put in effect, however, it was decided to make the necessary arrangements to have the office established on one of the piers near the present landing.

Permission has been granted by Lieutenant Wm. Klaus, U. S. N., officer in charge of the naval station, for the construction of the office on the pier, and this work will be started as soon as the necessary arrangements are completed.
