Mr. Stephens, author of " War in Disguise," in a late speech in the British House of Commons, said-
" America has made use of this argument, and alleged that our trade has suffered no damage from the Berlin Decrees--and even the BRITISH PARTY IN AMERICA had not been bold enough in the face of such open and continued misrepresentation to state how the fact really was-Mr. Pickering, who had so ably and justly defended the BRITISH CAUSE, had not stated it."
From this, and various other expressions used by the British ministry, and their supporters, there can remain no question on the mind of any impartial or disinterested man, that they claim and claim justly, the whole clan of junto federalists as their own-such they are soul and body.
