SEMPLE MUSHES ANOTHER 63 MILES

John Semple, the same man who walked 63 miles to get to Chitina from Indian River, because he had such a tooth-ache still has to get to places by "pickin' 'em up and p-icin' 'em down".

He was trying to get up to Kennecott to the Company dentist there by riding in the gasoline speeder, but he ran out of gas so lucky to get back here, and had to rely on Shanks' Mare again. It seems to be a very reliable way of travelling for Friend Semple, even though it isn't ever so modern way.

Mr. Semple reports that the dentist at the Copper Camp is a good one.
