SPECIAL ELECTION.
I have noticed the name of our old acquaintance
and fellow citizen, Samuel J. Browne, Esq. mentioned
in the Republican, and Cincinnati Gazette,
as a suitable person to fill the vacancy occasioned
by the resignation of R. T. Lytle, Esq. as representative
in Congress. As an old brother chip, favourably known
to the public as the editor of the late
Emporium & Crisis. I feel confident he will receive
the support of the brethren of the type, as he
most assuredly will that of the oldest and most respectable
citizens of Hamilton county.
