WASHINGTON. (P)-A twelve billion dollar system of super highways across the nation was proposed Saturday by Senator Kilgore (D.-W. Va.). They would be toll roads.
Six routes are listed in a bill Kilgore introduced Saturday. They would connect Boston and San Francisco; Florida and the Great Lakes: Florida and New York; the Canadian-Minnesota and the Mexican border at Laredo, Tex.; Jacksonville, Fla., and San Diego, Calif., San Diego and Puget Sound in Washington State.
