Madame Garnerin, only 20 years of age, wife of Garnerin, the aeronaut, lately ascended from the garden called Hammeau Chartilly, in a balloon by herself. About 3000 persons consisting principally of the beau monde of Paris, were in the garden, and upwards of 40,000 people collected in the Champs Elysees and the garden of the Thuilleries. She did not descend by a parachute, which she has done already by herself: She descended in a plain near the Faubourg St. Antoine, about 5 miles from where she set off; she was about three quarters of an hour on her aerial tour. The air absolutely rang with applause when she ascended.
