They write from Vienna, that there is no doubt of the War being continued against the Turks another Campaign. The Imperial Court is endeavouring to raise thirteen Millions of Florins; the greatest Part of which is to be employed in buying up 16,000 Horses to remount the Cavalry. That many thousand Men are sick; and among them 500 Officers at Temeswar and Belgrade. The good Understanding which at present subsists between the Emperor and the Elector of Bavaria, is laid to be owing to the Interposition of the Court of France. This has great Influence over the Electors of Cologn and Palatin, in Respect of the ordinary Subsidy his Imperial Majesty is endeavouring to raise in the Empire for carrying on the War against the Turks.
