COUNTY ROADS.—Several weeks ago, in noticing the county road law, we stated that all male persons between the ages of 16 and 55 were liable to road service. We wrote from memory, not at the time having the law before us. We find, by reference to the act, that 'ministers of the gospel, persons under sixteen and above sixty years of age, persons who reside in a town that provides for its poor and keeps its streets in order, and any person who has lost a leg or arm,' are exempted, and 'any other person, who is otherwise disabled, may be exempted on certificate of the County Court of such disability.'
