Wednesday the Rev. Mr. Entick shewed cause in the Court of Common Pleas at Westminster, why the action now at issue between him and four of his Majesty's messengers should not be consolidated with another action commenced against the Right Hon. the Earl of Halifax, jointly with the said messengers; but the said Earl not having appeared, the Court ordered the rule to be discharged, with costs; and the cause now at issue will be tried the present Sitting after Term, in Westminster Hall, before the Right Hon. Lord Chief Justice Pratt.
