MEETING IS HELD SATURDAY AFTERNOON
Executive Committee Of 117 Members Chosen By Central Committee
Mr. William M. Banning of Mt. Vernon will again head the Democratic Central committee for the year 1922-1923. Mr. Banning was elected chairman at the meeting of the Central committee held Saturday afternoon at the Knox county court house.
The members of this committee were elected at the primary on August 8.
Other officers elected by the committee are:
First Vice Chairman—J. C. Winterringer of Danville.
Second Vice Chairman—C. W. McKee of Mt. Vernon.
Secretary—S. R. Gotshall of Mt. Vernon.
The Central committee at the meeting Saturday afternoon appointed the Executive committee which will consist of 117 members this year. All the members of the old executive committee were re-appointed and 19 new names were added to the list.
The women's committee of 1920 will continue to serve this fall with additional names to be added. The women will meet at a date in the future to organize their committee.
