JONES GAP
JONES GAP, Sept. 21.—Misses Fannie and Mandie Blackwell of Dana visited Mrs. Frank Shipman Sunday.
Mrs. R. S. Sentell called on his daughter, Mrs. Frank Peeler, who lives at Balfour, Sunday morning.
Mr. Holbert Carns' family are on the sick list. Some of his children have measles.
Mrs. Beamon Hammon, Mr. Roy and John Mace, all of Chester, visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Mace, over the week-end.
Mr. Blaine Mace has moved from Hendersonville to his home in this community.
Mr. J. T. Blackwell has moved to Mrs. Pearl Drake's old home place near here.
Several from this community are busy working near Valley Hill school house.
Miss Eva Howard and friends from Hendersonville, were supper guests of Miss Mary Lou Owenby Saturday night.
There will be regular preaching services at Jones Gap church the second and fourth Sunday in each month.
Mr. Fred Summey and family visited Mrs. Summey's father who is ill, Tuesday night.
