Full Text

REVIVALS.

It gives us pleasure to notice in various quarters, indications that the Spirit of God is ready to descend upon the American Churches. In some places revivals are now in progress, and in many others there is an evident preparation begun, which gives us encouragement to hope for the richest of heavenly blessings. We have long been in the wilderness; for some time past the churches of the Lord have been only "dry and thirsty ground;" but now, we trust that the time is near; nay, that it has already come, when many shall be turned to righteousness. Let every disciple of Christ be found ready to receive the gift which is evidently ready to be offered.
