Area Indian Families Moving To California Under Relocation Program

Several families from Blackfeet are being assisted this month in relocating in the state of California through the office of Agency Relocation Officer Furrer. Gene Lahr and Joe C. Heavy Runner and family will leave for Los Angeles this Sunday, March 10. William Merlin Gilham will leave for Los Angeles on March 19, and Charles Robert Franks will journey to the same destination on March 20. Frank C. Henderson and family of four children will also relocate in Los Angeles, leaving Browning on March 20, and Merlin Marceau, his wife and three children will leave for Los Angeles on March 20.
