AMERICAN SHAMROCKS
Are Being Sold Growing in Pots in
the Cities of the East

The shamrock has come into its own at last, and in a land where there is room to grow it. Large quantities are now being grown in New Jersey and Connecticut. This year thousands of shamrocks are being sold, growing in little pots, to be carried in the hand in the St. Patrick's Day parade in New York. The florists are calling them American shamrocks. This is the first season that shamrock growing has been a complete success there, but the growers believe that from now on the little trefoil will flourish in this friendly soil.
