SIOUX CITY, Ia. (INS) - A manslaughter charge was filed at Sioux City Saturday against 24-year-old Air Force Sergeant Tommy Lee Foshee of Sand Springs, Oklahoma.

The charge resulted from the alleged fatal beating Christmas Eve of 36-year-old George Brewer, a Ponca, Nebraska, farmer.

Foshee, attached to the Sioux City Air Base, was working as a "bouncer" in a tavern when the fatal altercation with Brewer occurred.

Foshee waived arraignment on the charge and was held in lieu of $300 bond pending a hearing set on January 2.
