We are glad that the Washingtonian revolution is wending its way westward. It brings with it the healthful streams of life, and of domestic happiness. Many a wife, will welcome it as the almoner of brighter days-many a mother, sister, and brother will hail it as the messenger of peace, and of social enjoyment. It will light up the smile of hope and joy in many a countenance, which has long been the sad picture of melancholy-it will make glad many a heart, long beclouded in sorrow and woe. It will carry comfort and plenty into the habitations of misery and want; and swell the song of cheerfulness, where once the wail of despair, echoed mournfully from the abodes of wretchedness.
