Dublin, June 15.- The American rifle team arrived here this evening. The American riflemen, accompanied by Major Leech, Alderman Manning, of Dublin, and a large number of friends, left Cork on a special train for this city. They were greeted with cheers at various points on the route. The Lord Mayor and members of the Corporation of the city of Dublin received them at the depot and conducted them to carriages. A procession was then formed, with a band at the head, and the guests were escorted through Sackville, Dawson and other principal streets to the Shelbourne Hotel. The reception given the team by the populace was most enthusiastic. The immense crowd at the depot and along the entire route of the procession cheered as long as the Americans were in sight. The railway station and the streets were decorated with the American and Irish flags. The enthusiasm culminated at the hotel, where each member of the team was cheered as he alighted from his carriage, and the people pressed forward to shake hands with them, and shouts of welcome were heard everywhere. During the evening, a procession, with bands, flags and banners, marched to the hotel and serenaded the visitors, at the same time that a banquet was in progress in the hotel, at which Major Leech presided. He made a speech, warmly welcoming the riflemen and their friends to Ireland. Col. Gildersleeve responded for the visitors with heartfelt thanks, and declared their reception was far beyond any thing they had anticipated.
