Full Text
A Nuisance—We hear frequent complaints from residents in the vicinity of Miner's Alley, in regard to the obnoxious conduct of certain disreputable characters living on that Alley. The presence of these persons draws to their haunts drunken and worthless men, and almost nightly, the senses of respectable men and women are shocked by sights and sounds, such as can only originate with the most degraded characters. Justice to peaceable and well-disposed citizens demands that these brawlers should be taught better behavior for the future. As they now conduct themselves they are most disgusting nuisances and should be abated.
