SEEKS ARREST OF MARQUARD.

Atlantic City, N. J., Nov. 9. - On an affidavit sworn to by Joseph Kane of New York and two detectives, Police Magistrate Jagmetty of this city yesterday issued a warrant for the apprehension of "Rube" Marquard of the New York National league baseball team. Mr. Kane in his affidavit charged that he and the two detectives found Marquard and Mr. Kane's wife in a hotel here early yesterday. Mr. Kane further charged that while he was talking with the proprietor of the hotel, Marquard and Mrs. Kane left the place through a rear exit with the aid of an employe of the hotel. Mrs. Kane is an actress, her stage name being Blossom Seeley. The pair has been appearing in a vaudeville sketch which exploited Marquard's prowess as a pitcher.
