Little Business Outside Auditing of 1.

The mayor and full board of aldermen were present at the regular meeting of the city government Monday evening, the last of the outgoing administration. There was little new business before the board. Rolls of accounts were passed as follows:

Grand total, $1,081.78

The mayor reported the resignation of John E. Doyle as member of the board of registration, effective Feb. 19, and the appointment of John A. Stuart, recommended by the democratic city committee, to fill the vacancy. Mr. Doyle resigns to accept the appointment as collector of customs at Bar Harbor and Ellsworth.

Edward Haney was added to the list of surveyors of lumber, wood and bark.

Returns of the municipal election were then opened and tabulated, and the meeting adjourned.
