RNs To Form Assn. At Thursday Meet
All registered nurses of Monroe County are invited to a meeting Thursday night, 7 p. m. at Monroe General hospital for the purpose of organizing a sub-district of the American Nursing Association.
This will be the first meeting of the planned group. Monroe County nurses have previously been a part of District 5 of the Florida Nursing Association, affiliated with the ANA. This new grouping will mean recognition as a sub-district which can then send representatives to monthly meetings in Miami.
Mrs. Jeannette Fields, R. N., is temporary chairman.
A larger meeting which will be addressed by FNA and ANA officers will be held April 10, she said.
