MR. AND MRS. J. J. KEENAN

ENROUTE BACK TO NOME

Word was received yesterday that J. J. Keenan and wife were leaving Seattle by steamer today, enroute to Juneau, where they will board a plane for Nome. Mr. Keenan operates on the Kougarok River at Taylor on a large scale, and is coming in early to arrange for the moving of the Taylor dredge.

He is reported to have a crew of men leaving Seattle, Saturday for Anchorage where they will board Mirow Air Service planes for Nome. The dredge, it is understood is to be moved up the Kougarok River about four miles and will spend the 1940 season digging at the new location.
